Finance Director

My client is a market leading, manufacturing SME servicing specialist markets globally. The company has a loyal, highly skilled workforce and a reputation for producing technically advanced solutions for blue chip customers.  The company has enjoyed consistent, profitable growth and with a strategy of introducing new products, there is a clear plan in place for this to continue.

A board appointment, this role has been created to strengthen the leadership team and to work alongside the Managing Director to enable the company to take advantage of the exciting commercial opportunities available.  

As well as leading the finance function and managing statutory requirements, you will be expected to participate in contractual negotiations, be instrumental in formulating strategic partnerships and manage cash in a growth period. In addition you will be required to bring good knowledge of IT systems, energy, dynamism and added value at board level.

You should be a professionally qualified accountant, ideally with a track record in a senior role and a good understanding of projects and contract accounting. In addition, you should possess a background in a manufacturing or industrial environment, a practical hands-on approach and well developed influencing skills.
