Accounting Manager

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Accounting Manager to join a global technology organisation based in Surrey.

The ideal candidate must be proactive, ambitious and results-driven in the way that they approach their work with strong technical accounting experience. This role will manage the formulation of the statutory accounts for multiple business units and holding companies. This is a high-profile position engaging with influential stakeholders in both operational and head office areas.

To successfully deliver in this high-profile position, you will need to:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong academic background to degree level.
• Have excellent technical accounting and reporting experience.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to have a positive influence on colleagues throughout the company.
• Be deadline focussed and results driven in your approach to work.
• Be commercially aware and have up to date knowledge of global issues that concern the business.
• Have excellent software and systems skills including MS Excel.

A little more information about the role:

• You will partner and provide a financial input to various divisions within the business.
• You will provide technical support to Group divisions within the business.
• You will be required to assist auditors on an ad hoc basis.
• You will be responsible for assisting the preparation of financial statements and statutory reports for the company when needed.
