Financial Analyst

fdu is recruiting a Financial Analyst for a rapidly growing Blockchain technology client to be based in London. With revenues expecting to double from its current year-end figure of $400m over the next 12 months, there is the necessity to bulk up the FP&A team to help direct this growth by bringing sophistication to the decision making / reporting process.

This is a newly created role to support the FP&A Manager in implementing a best in class analytical function.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing financial models and guidance for the annual budget.
• Supporting the consolidation of all forecasting and budgeting schedules through the annual budget and monthly reforecast processes.
• Review actual vs Budget vs Forecast, isolating root cause and recommend mitigation measures.
• Preparation of daily flash reports.
• Update weekly cashflow model, carefully monitoring cash performance to support large growth.
• Working Closely with the Commercial Manager to support both sales and vendor deal proposals, providing real time, actionable information.
• Deep analysis on company metrics to provide critical insights and financial data to the team as well as the ability to take a holistic view.
• Develop new financial models across the business to support key stakeholders.
• Ad-hoc finance and strategy projects.

Your profile:

• Accountancy qualification (ACA, or CIMA) or equivalent with 0-3 years PQE.
• Financial Analysis experience essential.
• A mixture of large company / mid-cap and high growth experience would be of value
• Strong analytical skills and advanced level Excel / PowerPoint skills are essential
• ‘Super smart’, driven communicator with no ego.
