Leading on financial controls, budgeting, forecasting and systems implementation for an ambitious multi-academy trust looking to grow from 2 schools to over 10 schools by end of December 2018.

Client Details

A uniquely positioned academy trust, our client retains exceptionally close links to 8 of the leading universities in England. With plans to expand to over 10 schools in a short space of time, this opportunity will strike in a period of rapid growth in East London. The CEO of the trust began with one school in difficult circumstances and turned it to being one of the leading comprehensive schools in London.

Description

The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Review the current management and financial reporting functions within the schools and road-map a vision for the on-boarding of new schools
  • Have a thorough understanding of PSFinancials and understand how to utilise this system to best effect for a MAT environment
  • Run the balance sheets
  • Run debits and credits and reconciliations
  • Sort out the current processes in place and improve if necessary
  • Lead on the financial audit
  • Lead on the budgeting and forecasting programme

    • Profile

    The successful candidate will;

    • Be fully qualified CCAB
    • Have experience within Multi-Academy Trusts is a huge benefit
    • Have experience managing complex financial functions and have evidenced process improvement
    • Led on audits
    • Led on budgeting programmes
    • Be diplomatic and understand how to manage changeable teams

    Job Offer

    £400-500/day
