Syndicate Finance Manager - Insurance
London
£60,000+ per annum
Company client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their long standing and highly successful Syndicate within the Lloyd's market. This is a chance to become part of a very close-knit and collaborative team, in a business that offers both autonomy and a highly competitive work-life balance to their employees.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing and ensuring integrity and accuracy of the Syndicate general ledger
* Overseeing the Syndicate Finance operations teams in the performance both in London and regionally
* To design and automate Syndicate Finance reports as appropriate
* Lead contact for external Syndicate audit
* Lead contact for internal audit, when necessary
* Provide support on ad-hoc tasks as required by the Syndicate Financial Controller
Essential knowledge and experience:
* Qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
* Strong grasp of UK Insurance GAAP is essential
* Understanding of Lloyd's syndicate accounting, preferred but not a necessity
