Elevation Senior Finance are currently working with one of Leeds choice employers as they seek to appoint an Interim Group Reporting Finance Manager on a Fixed Term basis. This is a critical and high-profile role within the group finance team. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller the candidate will be part of a team of three responsible for delivering high quality Group financial reporting. The role involves frequent interaction with the Executive Chairman and Chief Financial Officer and other senior managers across both the Finance team and the wider business.
This is a maternity cover, but as a key employer with substantial growth year on year, there is ample opportunity at the end of the Fixed Term for other career options in the wider business.
As Interim Group Reporting Manager your day-to-day duties & responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for the production of Group management accounts for the Board, relationship banks and other key stakeholders
* Management, co-ordination and delivery of the half year and full year Group reporting process including group consolidation, audit, investor presentations, results announcements and end-to-end Annual Report production
* Production of statutory accounts for Group plc and its subsidiaries
* Production of full year entity-based forecasts
* Production of quarterly management accounts for group
* Work closely with the Treasury to ensure accurate hedge accounting, ensuring that any FX impact is accurately accounted for
* Provide technical research, advice and associated analysis to understand the impact of changes to accounting standards on the Group and entity accounts
* Assess and deliver changes to the group structure to accommodate increased overseas presence
* Ongoing support and advice on changes to group structure relating to aircraft purchasing / leasing
* Co-ordinate and develop knowledge library and deliver technical updates to the Finance team
* Provide support for management of Director remuneration and Senior Executive Incentive Plan
* Other ad hoc projects as required
Experience:
* Qualified accountant with extensive post qualification experience (ideally ACA/ACCA)
* Ability to work collaboratively and constructively with senior staff within the Finance team and across the business
* Adaptability and flexibility
* Stature, good personal presence and determination
* Drive, tenacity and strong influencing skills
* Resilience and energy to deliver results
* Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
* Clear presentation style
* Ability to distil and communicate complex matters in simple terms
* IT skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

£70,000 annual salary, some potential flex for the right candidate
12 - 15 month contract dependant on start date
