I am currently working on with a Fintech SaaS platform provider based in Central London. The business is backed by Private Equity and growing rapidly both organically and via acquisition. As a result, the business is looking for a new finance manager to partner with the Sales and Marketing team to help the business to grow their customer base in the UK and overseas. The Finance department is now in an exciting transitional stage with many new projects to get involved in as the company expands. It’s a great time to join the team and we are seeking candidates to develop throughout their training and then onto future opportunities.
The Role
- Commercial decision support and business partnership for Sales & Marketing teams.
- Delivering the quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting.
- Monthly and weekly management reporting of revenue and cost performance, as well as operating KPIs on sales and marketing funnel activity.
- Supporting the CRO and CMO with financial and commercial guidance.
- Developing and reporting customer acquisition costs and lifetime values.
- Aligning sales and marketing activity to ensure forecast sales are on track.
- Interpret detailed financial and non-financial data and provide updates and commercial guidance as needed.
- Identify and manage financial risks across the business.
- Update and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Assisting with finance projects as required.
Reporting to the Finance Director and working as business partner with the Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, you will also work closely with key members of the Finance team, Sales team and Marketing team daily.
You will be responsible for management reporting, forecasting & budgeting, and commercial analysis & decision support.
The Requirements
- Qualified accountant with experience working in a dynamic business.
- Exposure to a high growth or high change business environment.
- Sales & marketing experience would be advantageous.
- Commercial operator who understand how to be a business partner.
- SaaS and FinTech knowledge would also add value.
- Team focused and collaborative approach to working.
- Openness, flexibility and eagerness to develop new skills.
- Great communicator and a good sense of humour.
