Financial Accountant

Search Consultancy are currently working with a multi-award winning telecommunications business based just south of Manchester who are looking to appoint a Financial Accountant.

This organisation has gone from strength to strength over the past 5 years and are looking to expand the business further.

Newly qualified finance professionals are of interest to this business whether that be ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Some of the responsibilities of this role are as follows:

* Preparation of monthly divisional P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statements including posting of journals into Sage 200 financial system
* Assist in the preparation of the Group monthly accounts pack, which is circulated to the Board
* Reconciliation of balance sheet and intercompany recharge accounts
* Provide support in the management of the Finance team
* Assistance in drafting statutory accounts and liaison with auditors
* Quarterly VAT reporting
* Assisting with corporation tax reporting and compliance
* Cost reporting to monitor and investigate divisional performance against budget
* Monitor performance of acquisitions
