Commercial Finance Analyst

This is no standard Analyst job, we need someone highly commercial, who can work extremely closely with the Finance Director and Senior Management Team in producing valuable and insightful financial and performance analysis, to support commercial decision-making and help shape the UK business moving forward.

As Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Director of this technologically-advanced company, with your key responsibilities including:

• Business Partnering key Senior Stakeholders in Operations, Technical, Sales and Marketing.
• Development of KPI and performance reporting.
• Month end P&L analysis.
• Top to bottom P&L exposure - revenue through to operational costs.
• Production and development of the weekly trading report and monthly performance pack.
• Budgeting and Forecasting.
• Process improvement and review.
• Ad hoc project work and analysis.

As this is a newly-created position, there is so much more to this role - it can be shaped and can continue to grow with the business, and your own experiences.

We are seeking a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with solid Commercial experience, and a strong analytical skillset, including financial modelling. As you will be a trusted Business Partner across various departments, your presentation and communication skills will be flawless, you must be able to develop and maintain relationships, constructively challenge yet support and encourage peers/senior managers, and influence decision-making. You will be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise your time, and meet tight deadlines.

The base salary will be in the region of £45,000 - 55,000, dependant on experience; plus pension, healthcare, and other flexible benefits.
