Your new role 

Kingspan are now working exclusively with Hays to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager to lead the provision of all Payroll Services across the UK and Ireland for over 1,000 employees. Reporting to the UK Financial Controller the successful candidate will work closely with HR & Finance to develop employee benefits while ensuring the day to day payroll admin is carried out effectively. Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • To run end to end divisional employee and pensions payrolls each month ensuring all standard and variable payments are processed accurately and on time to meet all calendar pay deadlines

  • To provide all required internal, external and statutory reporting and record keeping requirements throughout the year meeting all monthly, quarterly and year end schedules required

  • Maintain and/or develop aspects of the reward and benefits package on offer to employees across the division, ensuring the day to day payroll related administration is carried out effectively (e.g. medical benefits, pension, insurances, childcare vouchers and other tax efficient benefits)

  • To support the management of all types of absence in the business – sickness, holidays and any exceptional circumstances – according to divisional policy and agreed schemes

  • To ensure all aspects of the Time and Attendance and Payroll IT systems are kept up to date and operating in line with the business needs

  • To manage and develop core deliverables and individual development of the Payroll Officer


 
What you'll need to succeed 

 

  • Demonstrable experience of managing a payroll function for 1,000 + employees

  • Knowledge of UK and Ireland legal, statutory, tax and data protection frameworks

  • Knowledge and experience of payroll systems

  • CIPP qualification advantageous
