An exciting opportunity exists for a highly experienced, commercially focused and energetic Chief Financial Officer to join this fast growth business in a key role to support its ambitious global expansion.

The Group

Founded in the UK in 2001, today The CFO Centre Group is the global leader in providing part-time CFOs and FDs across 5 continents, 16 countries and 80 locations. Its UK subsidiary, The FD Centre, is the UK’s largest provider of part-time FDs, operating in 23 regions across the UK and Ireland. Furthermore, the FD Centre is a founding member of The Liberti Group, a family of businesses providing part-time C-suite professionals across marketing, sales, IT, Accounting, HR and Law.

The Role

 Working closely with the Executive Chairman and Group CEO, the successful candidate will be accountable for the finance, company secretarial, IT, legal and risk management operations of The Liberti Group, The CFO Centre Group and The FD Centre.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting our global organic growth strategies in existing countries and new geographies
  • Leading the transaction process of any new acquisitions along the way
  • Being the key legal contact point for all our existing commercial relationships across the globe and those that are yet to come
  • Overseeing the risk dimension to all that we do
  • Working actively with our part-time IT Director to develop and implement an IT strategy to support our growth
  • Support our financial controller to ensure our financial reporting and control systems are best of breed and develop as we grow
  • Manage the Group’s financial planning and report financial results

Desired Qualifications and Experience

As well as the experience mentioned above, candidates should be qualified from one of the UK’s Chartered Accounting Institutes, have 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company, division of a large corporation or Private Equity House. Candidates should have experience in partnering with an executive team and have a high level of written and oral communication skills.
