Group Financial Reporting Accountant

Our client is a hugely successful global service sector organisation, partnering with some of the UK’s most recognisable household names. As a result of internal promotion they have created a new position for a qualified accountant to support them through an exciting period of growth.   

The key requirements for the role:-

• Completion of the monthly group consolidation process including, sub group consolidation and subsidiary accounts.
• Manage the IFRS conversion process across all subsidiary business and subsequent acquisitions.
• Implementation and impact analysis of new IFRS standards (IFRS15/IFRS16).
• Preparation of the monthly consolidated management accounts for multiple companies, including overseas subsidiaries.
• Consolidation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Treasury support for the group’s banking facility.
• Providing support on the integration of new acquisitions

Key skills and experience:

This role would ideally suit a recently qualified ACA or ACCA looking to either make their first step into industry or move up to a more challenging role within industry. Key skills include:

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• The desire to progress your career upwards within a dynamic and fast moving organisation
• Strong IFRS technical accounting ability.
