Commercial Finance Manager

A Commercial Finance Manager is required to work for a PE Backed Luxury Retail brand based in Central London, with multichannel operations in the UK and international distribution. This is a very hands role on as you will be supervising a small team, while taking on full ownership for the commercial analysis for the business with a key focus on the accelerated growth of Ecommerce and on Pricing and margins. The business has ambitious plans for profitable growth in the next three years.

Reporting to the CFO, the Commercial Finance manager will support the Executive Chair and CEO in developing strategic plans for the business. Be responsible for the annual budgeting and forecasting process, along with delivering the reporting with the support from the department. Establish operational KPIs with each channel to ensure the delivery of the strategic plans. As well, partner with merchandising to ensure the delivery of inventory and margin plans.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with strong experience in larger organisations and a strong analytical focus. Excellent interpersonal skills are key to the success of this role as you will be challenging and supporting non-finance stakeholders on commercial decisions for the brand, you must have proven business partnering experience as a result. Experience in retail and ecommerce as well as a background in private equity is beneficial. This role would be an opportunity for progression for a step up to #1 in finance in the future.
