Finance Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for a commercially minded, fully qualified Finance Manager for a well established Manufacturing Business in Barnsley, which will report directly into the Group Financial Controller.

They are looking for someone to support the production of month end accounts and analysis as well as a number of exciting upcoming projects to help drive the business forward.

Duties will include: -

- Assist in the preparation of the group management accounts and board reports
- Will be the main point of contact for finance for business units across the group
- Providing insightful analysis to aid the the Group Financial Controller in formulating corporate strategy
- Consolidation of group accounts and prepare any related analysis and account reconciliations
- Regular review and analysis of company performance and profitability
- Cash flow forecasting
- Business partnering with group subsidiaries to discuss and challenge the financials
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP

The business is looking for an individual who can help influence the direction of the corporate strategy through effective analysis and month end group reporting, proactive stakeholder engagement and business partnering as well as being actively engaged in projects.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences:-

- CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA qualified
- Highly capable in Excel (Including pivot tables, v-look ups and macros)
- Resilience to deal with stakeholders across the group
- Ability to multi-task
- Confident with the ability to lead and influence others
- Team player yet able to work well on own initiative
