They have an opportunity within their finance function for a Finance Improvement Lead. Reporting into the Financial Controller this is an excellent opportunity to drive and implement significant change. In particular you focus on:
- Drive continuous efficiency and quality improvements through automation and improved processes across the finance function
- Ensure consistent and complete data capture and processing
- In conjunction with all finance functions, develop user friendly management tools and reports for regular distribution and financial monitoring
- Improve reporting to provide insightful analysis to drive better financial outcomes
- Improve the integration between all finance functions where possible
- Enhance the financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting processes as required
- Assist with business partnering as required
- Review and optimisation of AR & AP systems and processes maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures
- Undertake ongoing training and development to maintain up to date knowledge and skills required for the role
Required skills and experience:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified desirable
- Proven track record in designing and developing meaningful reports
- Experience in implementing finance process and system changes
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
- Advanced Excel
- Data skills
