Excellent Opportunity for an Interim Director of Finance

Your new company

A growing multi-academy trust based in West Yorkshire are looking for an Interim Finance Director. The Trust are well-established and are expecting to have some new schools join them early in 2019. This position may be offered as either a competitive daily rate or a fixed term contract.

Your new role

You will support the Multi-Academy Trust Board in providing the strategic financial direction and budget advice to both the Trust and to the individual schools' Business Managers. You will also ensure compliance with all Academy financial returns. You will provide a high level of knowledge of financial procedures, bringing efficiency and uniformity and strengthening systems of control across the Trust.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a part or fully qualified accountant with proven track record of success in a relevant field, preferably within a school based setting. You will be someone with a genuine passion to work in the education sector and can see the potential to make a real difference to the Multi-Academy Trust. You will have experience of leading the strategic planning for a school, academy or other not-for-profit organisation. It would be beneficial to have experience of using PS Financials.
