An internationally recognised travel business based in Central London are looking for a Finance Business Partner to be responsible for delivering business insight as the primary contact point with finance and advising on the business areas' strategic and operational decision making.

An internationally recognised travel business based in Central London are looking for a Finance Business Partner to be responsible for delivering business insight as the primary contact point with finance and advising on the business areas' strategic and operational decision making.

Role reponsibilities:

• Be the primary contact for business stakeholders for financial insight and understanding
• Work with business area to improve financial understanding and compliance with finance processes
• Challenge and pursue revenue and cost improvement actions 
• Work closely with the financial reporting team to ensure delivery of regular historical reporting and variance analysis
• Work with project sponsors to ensure a simple and consistent approach to business case preparation to comply with the Board approved Investment Appraisal methodology
• Apply scrutiny and challenge proposals with an outcome that leads to a strong investment supported by a complete set of financial measures
• Conduct post implementation and financial benefit reviews for projects
• Financial Performance Management
• Responsible for providing financial information to key stakeholders and Senior Leadership - leading regular business review meetings to deliver insight and identify risks and opportunities
• Produce management information packs
• Develop and maintain a suite of financial and operational KPIs
• Lead the forecasting and budgeting process for the business
• Identify and track risks and opportunities associated with the business financials
• Support the Senior Leadership on the long-term business plans 
  
  

Key requirements for the role:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas equivalent)
• 2+ years post qualification experience in a commercial role
• Experience within a consumer business (travel, leisure, retail, FMCG or related)
• Strong communication skills with business partnering & stakeholder engagement experience
• Strong business acumen
• Experience in leisure, travel or tourism (preferred)
