Axon Moore are working with a fast-growing PE-backed business in Leeds to recruit a Senior Finance Manager.
This market-leading business have built a fabulous reputation within their sector and offer a contemporary and fast-paced working environment. They are investing heavily in opening new sites and have a keen eye for strategic acquisitions, therefore they are able to offer their finance team lots of interesting projects in addition to BAU activities.
The Senior Finance Manager will lead the management accounts and purchase ledger teams and ensure the successful delivery of prompt and accurate numbers to the business.

The Senior Finance Manager will lead the management accounts and purchase ledger teams and ensure the successful delivery of prompt and accurate numbers to the business.
Key duties will involve:
- Overseeing monthly management accounts production, developing processes and analysis along the way
- Leadership and ongoing development of the management and PL functions
- Working with commercial finance to support business performance
- Identification of risks and opportunities and communication across the business
- Assisting with production of the stat accounts and audit liaison
- Cashflow management and forecasting
- Balance sheet management and management of fixed assets
- Working with property development teams and assisting with Capex management
- Process and control improvement
- Project based work such as systems developments or post-acquisition integration
- Qualified Accountant with minimum of 4 years PQE
- Proven staff management experience is essential
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, highly dynamic business
- An ideas person, you’ll be someone who can identify improvements and implement them
- Strong experience of managing the monthly accounting cycle and credible when dealing with external advisors / bodies
- Strong commercial acumen and relationship building skills
- You’ll be ambitious and inquisitive by nature, your CV will show continual progression
