Commercial Accountant

Badenoch & Clark are currently working with a leading organisation based in Crawley to recruit a Commercial Accountant on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will join a fast paced finance team.


Key responsibilities:
* Accurate and timely production of the monthly management accounts, ensuring they are produced on a true and fair basis. This will include posting appropriate journals (accruals, prepayments) and review of the team's journals.
* Assist in the production of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, taking the lead on where appropriate
* Production of the monthly Performance Reports, leading on the written commentary, providing high quality and insightful analysis
* Taking the lead on analysis of projects, including full analysis of costs to date, and implementing an accurate forecasting process
Key skills required
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
* Good knowledge of UK GAAP
* Advanced Excel / financial modelling skills
* Highly numerate with a strong commercial aptitude
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
