Senior Insight Analyst

Partner Financial are working with an innovative, market leading, private equity backed, international ecommerce business based in Central London. The business has had a phenomenal few years expanding their service offering across new markets and with a continued focus on growth for 2019, they are seeking a Senior Insight Analyst to steer the business through insight and bring an international perspective to their Commercial team.

Reporting to the Head of Analytics, you will be working closely with the analytics team and supporting the Managing Director of the International business. You will be analysing and dissecting data from a variety of systems, bringing the numbers to life to drive data-based decision making at a strategic level and providing insights into ongoing business performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Business partnering with the Managing Director of the International business and their wider team.
• Leading business performance insight; driving and influencing actions across the business.
• Managing large datasets and working with the IT team, to extract relevant data.
• Building financial models to inform the planning process through scenario building.
• Leading the testing of plans and identifying optimal scenarios with the commercial team.
• Maintaining the KPI dashboards, including the production of monthly reporting for the board.
• Working with the analytics team to develop an understanding of the International customer behavioural trends.
• Leading market and competitor analysis, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Creating business cases and supporting with investor presentations.
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting for sales, revenues and gross margin.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong Analyst, with intellectual capacity and commercial acumen.
• Experience within a high-volume ecommerce business.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to hold people to account.
• Advanced modelling skills advantageous (SQL).
• The ability to demonstrate where your insight has led to direct improvement in business performance.
