fdu is recruiting a Financial Controller for a rapidly expanding technology business based in Watford. Reporting to the CEO, this is a newly created role with the aim of improving financial control and visibility of the numbers to aid the decision making process across the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing all day to day financial activity
- Proactively managing the outsourced book keeping function
- Production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports
- Managing the budgeting process
- Improving processes, controls and procedures to drive efficiencies
- Business partnering the CEO
You will be an academically strong, qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Accountant who possesses:
- Strong financial management experience which will ideally combine a blend of larger company ‘best practice’ and smaller / high growth / early stage experience
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
- An interest in analytics and IT / systems
You will be joining a multi-national early stage business at a pivotal point in their evolution. I need an individual who has the head room to grow with the business and can step up to Finance Director in the future.
