I am currently recruiting for the Outsourcing department of a Big 4 firm based in central Manchester, who are seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial and dynamic Senior Manager to join their team.

The role would require someone who has broad accounting/finance experience gained from working within a UK based accountancy practice, and particularly within an outsourcing function at Manager or Senior Manager level.

As this is a new department, you will need to be comfortable with getting involved in recruitment for the team as well as business development to help grow the team's client base.

Key requirements

• Must be ACA/ACCA qualified
• Experience gained from working for a medium-large sized accountancy firm
• Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102
• Exposure to IFRS or US GAAP is highly desirable
• Outstanding communication skills
• Experience of managing a client portfolio
• Supervisory skills gained in a practice environment
