A FTSE 250 business based in central London have a superb opportunity for a Group Financial Accountant. A truly hybrid role that will allow you to develop your experience within a commercial business.
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will play a provide a key role in providing a wide range of support to the Board and senior management with their financial responsibilities. This includes external and internal reporting, budgeting, taxation and oversight of the finance functions in three trading divisions. You will also be involved in a variety of ad hoc analysis and project work.
Candidates will need to be a newly qualified Accountant, ideally with a strong academic background, and a good track record of delivering effective reporting under pressure and to tight business deadlines.You will need experience of management and statutory reporting, corporation tax and VAT, and have a good understanding of reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP.
You will need to be driven, dedicated, with strong attention to detail, with a down to earth manner, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop good working relationships.
