Finance Analyst

I have been engaged by a highly interesting and global facing business that operates in a technical sector, to find them an experienced and self-motivated Finance Analyst.

As part of the Finance Team, you will provide analytical support to the wider business.

• Carry out financial consolidation and analysis of global revenue, profit and capex monthly
• Assisting in the preparation of detailed quarterly forecasts
• Annual business plan - Key role in the consolidation and implementation of the annual business plan process
• Manage investment appraisals for new project approvals across region
• Support the Finance Director in producing commentary on accounts, business partnering with the managers to gather local narrative on performance
• Assist in the month, quarter and year-end financial close process
• Report and analyse global sales results by customer, site and commercial manager
• Support the generation of sales budgets and forecasts for EMEA region, by analysing prices volume and contracts for all key customers
• Using existing and more importantly new ERP and operating system to drive real time profitability analysis by customer by product line
• Support the development and roll out of new ERP system
• Support projects through their lifetime ensuring projects are properly resourced and budgeted for and monitoring performance against budget

Without question you will have a solid background in accounting and finance, with a hunger to get further involved in the business. Perhaps your current post is Management Accountant and would like to get more involved with the analysis of the detail.

Ideally you will be a CIMA passed finalist or newly qualified Accountant with CIMA. Qualified by experience candidates with the right experience and skills set will be considered.

Advanced Excel Skills and having the ability to demonstrable commercial acumen is key with an aptitude and knowledge for ERP systems.
