Compliance Monitoring Manager
A major insurance business is currently seeking a Compliance Monitoring Manager to focus on workplace pensions business.
Your role will be to lead, shape and implement the regulatory programme of the 2nd line monitoring team. The team are split in two locations, therefore you will be expected to travel (within the UK) once a week - flexible working can be structured around this with the opportunity for you to work from home for part of the week where appropriate.
You'll develop monitoring strategy, perform risk assessments, deliver outputs to a high level and provide functional leadership of the workplace pension savings business area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Shaping and leading the function's capability with oversight of the 1st line.
- Directing and managing high quality monitoring reviews.
- Undertaking significant initiatives and projects, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met.
- Monitoring regulatory priorities, industry developments and business strategy.
- Maintaining effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Evolving the approach to performing and reporting regulatory compliance reviews, taking a lead in shaping and delivering new ways of working and supporting staff throughout this process.
This is a senior level role within the organisation, as such, you'll have experience of working on workplace pensions, subject-matter expertise of the products and a strong understanding of compliance / risk controls.
