Big 4 Accountant / Analyst

FTSE250  Business is recruiting for a Financial Accountant/Analyst, reporting to the Group Financial Controller, and with regular exposure to the Group Finance Director. There is a proven track record of entrants into Head Office roles developing their careers within the organisation subsequently moving into senior and operational finance roles within the wider business.

This is a varied role summarised as a split between these key areas, Analytical monthly reporting 30%,  Year End and Half Year 40%,  IFRS / Technical accounting 15% and Ad hoc Analysis 15%. Specific tasks include: cash flow forecasting, stock analysis, preparation of Group consolidation and detailed analysis, contribution to Annual report and presentation to Investors, preparation and review of group working capital forecasts.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a first step outside of practice for a Big 4 qualified ACA. It provides a route into industry, in an interesting and dynamic sector, and the opportunity to learn a variety of new skills, whilst bringing a solid accounting base from Practice, preferably with experience of UK listed PLCs.
