Finance Manager - Somerset

An exciting role has arisen with one of our clients based in Somerset. Due to rapid expansion they are now seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their senior management team.

The focus of this role is driving and supporting company's business plan and leading the financial evaluation of the business. The successful candidate with lead the budgeting, forecasting and balance sheet review processes and will support, mentor and develop a close-knit agile team of finance experts. Setting up and operating financial management process and procedures assuring compliance, is probably one of the biggest challenges in this position.

Key requirements:

• Finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Previous experience in an operational and commercial multi-site environment, ideally within the manufacturing or construction sector
• Demonstrable track record of budgeting and forecasting and a thorough understanding complex financial processes and key business issues
• Analytical thinking and advanced Excel skills
• Up to date knowledge of compliance policies, procedures and tools (SOX)

The successful candidate will be an integral member of the finance team. Working closely with other team members and the General Manager, whilst building relationships with internal stakeholders and external parties is key within this role. This position will suit an experienced and confident individual ready to put their stamp on things.
