Head of Operational Services

Your new company

Based in Glasgow, our long standing client who is working exclusively with HAYS are recruiting for a Head of Operational Services for up to one year maternity cover

Your new role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will manage the Operational Services function, compromising of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control. You will manage and organise all staff and activities within the Operational Service, with responsibility of delegating and managing tasks throughout the financial year.

What you'll need to succeed

As this post is leading a customer facing section, you will have excellent communication skills, have a pro-active approach with sound experience at a managerial level. You will have experience in change management and have strong stakeholder engagement. As well as this, you will have experience in dealing with balance sheet reconciliations, month end and year end preparation, financial system experience, business process review, leading credit control, management of the sales and purchase ledger account transactions, alongside the demands of high volume processing.
