Statutory Accountant
Cardiff
Upto £55,000 per annum
I've been retained by a Top 10 accounting firm to source a statutory accountant based out of their Cardiff office. The successful candidate will assist with helping a diverse range of clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
* Train and lead staff
* Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
* Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
* Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Key Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualification or equivalent
* Experience of financial accounting and reporting
* Strong project management skills
* The ability to work in a team, building good working relationships with both colleagues and clients.
* Experienced in mentoring/coaching younger members of staff.
