This Private Equity & VC invested start-up AdTech business is rapidly establishing and has already gained an enviable reputation within data intelligence & analytics market place. Having secured funding from leading global P/E & Venture Capitalists, the company has already grown from 10 to 30 in the UK & US over 12 months and is achieving ambitious global expansion plans. Supporting a portfolio of instantly recognisable branded clients including publishers, marketers and digital product managers, building & delivering smarter business platforms across multiple devices and maximise intelligent commercial insights supporting real-time data driven decision making. As a result, the group is seeking a qualified ACA or ACCA to undertake a newly created Finance Manager (Finance Business Partner) role to “own” the finance function and allow the Finance Director to focus on legal, HR and IT matters during a critical growth programme. Your brief includes:

•Finance Business Partner leading the day-to-day financial management, control, balance sheet & Profit & Loss accounting
•Preparation financial analysis, leading the monthly management reporting delivering Kpi's, commentary for the FD & Board review
•Orchestrating & leading FP&A planning, budgeting & forecasting processes
•Management of weekly cash flow & working capital projections
•Lead & Manage the year end process & reporting, liaising with the auditors
•Manage a small team providing day-to-day bookkeeping & transactions
•Driving improvements in financial systems & processes to ensure robust commercial financial controls are in place alongside value-added work

As a qualified ACA or ACCA from a Top 40 firm, you will demonstrate experience of delivering against financial and management reporting deadlines and evidence of improving accounting processes, systems and controls, ideally within an SME or start-up enterprise. The role demands a professional, proactive approach, the ability to develop staff & a finance team and the gravitas to challenge the status quo. Interest in technology, ad-tech or start-ups would be advantageous but not essential. The role is expected to quickly become a Group Financial Controller role as the business expands to different markets, so an ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment is critical.
