SF Group are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant based in Nottingham on a permanent basis.

The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Assist in the preparation of the Association's and its associated entities' revenue, fixed assets, development and balance sheet budgets, plans and forecasts
- Assist in the proactive monitoring of performance on budgets and initiate discussions with budget-holders where corrective action is deemed necessary
- Provide regular forecasts regarding the likely outturn on budgets
- Assist in the preparation of the Association's and its associated entities' business plan
- Provide financial input to business cases for service development
- Support Budget-holders and Senior Management in the operation of their budgets and provide support, as required
- Oversee the preparation of all budgets
- Provide input to processes for continuous improvement in the provision of financial management services
- Assist in the preparation of the Association's and related entities' statutory, statistical and other returns/plans
- Assist in the preparation of the Annual Accounts
- Draft the annual accounts
- Ensure any statutory returns are filed with the relevant statutory bodies by the appropriate deadline
- Draft taxation returns
- Produce reports for the Board of Management and the Senior Staff Group to an agreed timetable (or as requested in the case of ad hoc reports)
- Represent the Association at meetings

The ideal candidate will be a Finance and Accountancy Graduate and studying towards their ACCA/CIMA (or the equivalent) with relevant experience within a finance role.
