Heyland Recruitment are currently assisting a market leading, global Manufacturing business that has operations in several countries within Europe as they look to recruit a qualified Financial Controller on a permanent basis. Reporting to the UK CFO, the FC will be responsible for leading the UK Business Controlling team in providing accurate financial information and support to all UK sites and entities. The Financial Controller will also be responsible for providing accurate information to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all relevant reporting standards are adhered to.
Main responsibilities will include;
To act as the primary contact for UK Senior Management and for all UK management reporting.
To manage the Company UK month end management reporting processes, ensuring all deadlines are met and information is accurate.
To communicate the results ensuring information is well presented, understood, and highlighting key variances to budget and forecasts.
To manage the UK budgeting and forecasting processes.
To lead the UK Business Controlling team (team of 5) to ensure they have the knowledge, skills and ability to operate to the required standards.
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified finance professional who has previously worked in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a large international business . Our client requires a strong people manager, somebody who is willing to lead from the front whilst ensuring that all financial information is accurate and delivered within a timely manner.
Candidates will be expected to be familiar and up to date with financial reporting standards, demonstrating a sound knowledge of corporation tax and VAT.
