Senior Management Accountant

Based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, our client is an established and recognisable company looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to join their team on an Interim basis for a 6 month period.

This job would suit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant with strong management accounting experience and an excellent understanding of cash flow forecasting, you must also have excellent experience using SAP.

The successful individual will have excellent communication skills with great attention to detail. It is essential the candidate has good problem-solving skills and can think critically. The candidate must be self-motivated and have a flexible approach, in addition to this, you will need to use your fine-tuned stake holder management skills to partner with offshore teams and develop strong working relationships. A proven ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels is essential as is the ability to challenge existing practices and drive improvements.

Duties will include:

• Work closely with the Senior Finance Manager to support the preparation of the financial reporting in line with IFRS
• Assisting with the cash flow forecasts for the UK and European markets
• Extensively using SAP
• Utilising control methods to manage the accuracy and integrity of the management reporting
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations
• Partner with the off shore Shared Service team with particular focus on Cash and Accounts Payable
• Assist the year end global audit and statutory accounts
• Support the senior accounting members to complete the monthly accounts with a focus on understanding and analysing the key cost drivers to challenge and drive financial performance
• Ad hoc financial analysis & support to the rest of the international finance team as required
