My client is one of the world's leading service provider. They are currently working with a large public research university to on a £35 million project and are looking for a driven, creative, commercial manager to join their team.

Description

• Report on contractual performance and commercial services in a timely and accurate manner

• Monitor income and instigate action regularly to ensure prompt payment.

• Recognise all substantial risks and opportunities, prioritising activities to secure opportunities and mitigate risks, ensuring that the business is fully informed and aware

• Liaise effectively with clients and customers

• Commercial management of subcontracts and suppliers.

• Management of internal stores & purchasing manager

• Control and communicate expenditure and maximise income to achieve or exceed budgeted financial performance.

• Contribute to the production delivery and agreement of the contract budget, forecasts and monthly CVR's.

• Demonstrate a clear and effective alignment with the operational objectives and the commercial interests of the business

• Develop, maintain and enforce policies and procedures to manage commercial risk.

• Ensure compliance with commercial procedures, processes and working documentation.

• Support with contract negotiations and continuous performance projects

Profile

• Essential- Contract management experience

• Essential - project management experience

• Essential - prior commercial management experience

• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

• Desirable - RICS or MRICS
