Permanent Legal Cashier

You will be assisting with the smooth running of the Practice finances. This is a very busy department dealing with all of the diverse areas of the Firm and you must be able to keep pace with the flow of work, but accuracy is the key element. A true team-worker is required for the role.

Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules
Daily banking
Electronic payments and receipts
Reconciling bank, petty cash and general ledgers
Paying interest on client account monies
Transferring funds between accounts

You will require previous experience within a similar role in a Legal Practice, knowledge of Solicitor's Account Rules and proficient skills on Microsoft Word and Excel.
