Senior Accountant - Funds

Frazer John recruitment is partnering a leading Real Estate Investment firm based in an amazing Central London location, currently looking to recruit an experienced Fund Accountant for a 6 month role. The team has an excellent reputation within the business and is constantly receiving awards for achieving outstanding results.

Reporting into the Head of Fund Finance, this will be an extremely diverse and interesting role and will involve high levels of interaction with senior stake-holders so communication skills will have to be first class.

The role will include:

• Management of the accounting, consolidation and reporting processes for the fund (and one of its feeders), including quarterly/annual financial statements, investor reporting, annual financial accounts and investor requests.
• The candidate will be required to prepare the accounts of the fund (rather than review accounts prepared by external providers) and review accounts prepared by external administrators for the feeder. 
• Serving as a single point of contact for internal fund managers, portfolio & asset managers and administrators.
• Responsible for cash management of the fund, including calculation of investor calls and distributions along with making recommendations to the fund managers 
• Liaise with the wider and different Finance functions and ensure all information and reporting requirements are provided in an accurate and timely manner - including budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist in due diligence and structuring of new debt investments.

As the ideal candidate you will be a fully qualified accountant or QBE with ideally Fund or CRE debt experience.  Please apply if you have experience of other funds.  You will have excellent communication skills.
