Frazer John Recruitment Finance Practice is recruiting for a fast growing technology business in its search for a Financial Controller to work out of its South Manchester based office close to the Airport.
The Financial Controller will need to be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with a strong academic background. The ability to manage and develop a finance team is critical and you will need advanced Excel skills. Any exposure to working within a creative environment would be a distinct advantage. Exposure to dealing with senior management and challenging where appropriate is essential and you will need to be prepared to be ‘hands on’ and communicate well with various different divisions. - Budgeting and forecasting
- Year-end accounting
- Balance sheet reviews
- Liaising with and being the financial representative for auditors, banks, tax partners etc.
- Business partnering and producing reports for various departments
- Creation and roll out of KPI analysis
- Completion of management accounts
- Profit and loss analysis
- Assist with due diligence on acquisitions and integration of these businesses
- Ad-hoc project work
