Financial Analyst

Ignata Finance are working with an established market leading business located in Crawley for the recruitment of a Financial Analyst. This is a newly created role which will support new projects starting in 2019. This role will be a combination of general accounting such as month end and financial reporting with a large emphasis on analysis and business partnering. This role would suit candidates at the final stages of their ACCA or CIMA qualification or those who have recently qualified. Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following:

-       ACCA or CIMA Qualified (Finalist’s will be considered)

-       You must have experience of analysing large quantities of financial information using excel (financial modelling experience would be preferred)

-       Able to work through month end autonomously

-       Strong financial reporting experience ideally from a larger organisation/Plc

-       Experience of presenting to senior staff e.g. direct level or heads of departments (ideally non-finance such as sales, marketing and HR)

Key responsibilities:

-       Responsible for delivering the month end process

-       Support heads of departments with various financial reports ensuring you identify and communicate any risks/opportunities

-       Work with commercial finance team to account for key variances and mitigate any risks

-       Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process

-       Participate in current projects

-       Undertake detailed variance analysis

-       Maintain internal controls

-       Analyse MI using financial models
