With over 60 years of service, bespoke and holistic treatment is delivered by expert physio, occupational and speech & language therapists to maximise potential of children and adults with cerebral palsy and neurological conditions. Many NHS and other health professionals have been trained in the Bobath Concept, which enables thousands of children and adults to benefit from Bobath therapy in their local community.

The Bobath Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy is seeking an Honorary Treasurer at an exciting stage of its development with a relocation to Watford early 2019. With the retirement of the current Honorary Treasurer, this post represents a great opportunity to work with committed and knowledgeable Trustees and Staff, to take this leading specialist treatment and training centre, and dedicated charity, forward into a fresh chapter.

You will demonstrate a strong understanding of financial management and reporting at a strategic level and have current working knowledge of accountancy, business development and strategy. Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant and have an understanding of the Charity's legal obligations, duties of a Trustee and governance.

Trustees are required to attend four to five Council meetings per year. Time commitment of ten days a year on average.
