Finance Manager - Permanent - £35k - £45k - Swaffham - CIMA - ACCA

Your new company
An exciting new position has arisen to head up a small Finance team for this fast-growing, industry-leading luxury footwear and accessories brand. The Finance Manager will be primarily responsible for leading the function through a new phase of growth and beyond, being instrumental in implementing structure and processes whilst still having hands-on involvement internally and externally on a national and international level.

Your new role
The position will be responsible for producing timely and accurate financial statements with relevant KPI's and management information to appraise the Board of the performance of the business against budget enabling informed management decisions to be made. In addition, the Finance Manager will oversee the treasury function and management of finances, most specifically trade debtors and supplier payments. The accurate reporting of stock in terms of location, quantity and valuation is also a key responsibility for this position.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified and have first-class system knowledge of Xero (although Sage or equivalent acceptable) and excellent working knowledge of Excel. Highly-polished and adaptable communication and presentation skills are a must as this role will work at all levels and report to the Board. Candidates also need to have solid people management experience and evidence of problem-solving skills. Sector and stock management/valuation experience in a multi-site location is important too. The successful person will be one who responds positively to the culture and values of the business in this relaxed entrepreneurial environment yet can use their structured background to create an efficient and scalable finance platform for the future.
