My client are leading service business based in Birmingham City Centre. They are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant position to join their busy finance function. They successful candidate will be a driven and ambitious Assistant Accountant and will be either studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or will be QBE.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts - accruals/prepayment journals
- Monthly KPI analysis - Office Fee Trackers, Utilisation, WIP analysis, Job Profitability (experience essential)
- Daily Bank postings and reconciliations
- Fee rendering for offices - London
- Generate monthly WIP templates for Partners
- Administer and reconcile International companies balance sheets
- Preparing and reviewing VAT Returns, Fixed Asset Register and cashflow forecasting
- Assist the Finance Manager in periodic Budget and forecast for approval by the Finance Director
