Finance Business Partner

We are exclusively partnering with a well-known FMCG business based on the outskirts of Maidstone who are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner.

My client are a well known brand name in their industry and they supply a market leading retail business with their products.

Description

The role will include the following:

• Production of a full management accounting pack, stock management, variance analysis, product costings, producing monthly P&L, analysis of projects, operational costing.

• Establish budget by cost line, ensuring data is tracked and issues identified.

• Prepare, analyse and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by product, customer and factory.

• Prepare and analyse permanent and temporary labour usage reports.

• Ensure the management team are well informed and understand the financial performance of the factory.

• Review of KPI data to identify performance improvement opportunities.

• Proposing and evaluating cost saving/profit enhancing, continuous improvement or system enhancement opportunities.

• Manage the fixed asset register.

• Ensure internal control documentation is effective and utilised.

• Stock take follow-up and analysis; and preparation evaluation and reconciliation of stock takes.

• Coordinate with IT department for system issues on maintenance and development of production and purchasing data.

• Capital control - evaluate proposals, monitor spend and review with the team to ensure projects are delivered within the approved value.

• Work on special projects as required.

• Drive accountability for adherence to standard practice back to the management team to ensure the provision of accurate information and the appropriate use of reports prepared for the business.

Profile

Your profile will be similar to the following:

• CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified.
• Ideally degree educated.
• Previous experience in a similar role/factory.
• Financial management and performance improvement within an FMCG environment.
• Cost accounting experience desirable.
