Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with a growing business in the Hull area as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The main duties will include:
- Assisting with month end invoicing
- Preparing management accounts
- Accruals and prepayments
- VAT returns
- Query resolution
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Preparing and delivering weekly and monthly reports
- General ad-hoc duties to ensure smooth running of the finance team
In order to be considered for this role, applicants will possess the following skills:
- GCSE Maths & English (A*-C)
- Studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA
- IT literate including Excel (pivot tables and look ups)
- Strong communication skills
