Interim Head of Financial Reporting

A FTSE Listed Services Business based on the outskirts of Portsmouth are looking to recruit an Interim Head of Financial Reporting on a 3-6 month contract.

Reporting to the Finance Director and working as part of the Senior Management Team you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the divisions financial reporting and line management of the team. The business is in the process of implementing SAP and with this in mind there will be the opportunity to get involved in project work and recommending areas for process improvement. You will ensure resilient controls, processes and reviews are in place and drive efficiencies to improve the service delivery of the reporting function.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience of managing a business facing Finance team. The ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner to business functions and to positively influence are key. You will preferably have worked with SAP and be comfortable operating in what is a fast-paced changing environment.
