My client who are a leading UK business in the retail sector who are private equity backed and are recruiting for a fantastic Assistant Financial Accountant to join their growing finance function. The Assistant Financial Accountant will be supporting the production of monthly management accounts.
- Production of monthly management accounts for the UK and overseas subsidiaries
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT and Intrastat returns
- Administration of the fixed assets data
- Reconciliation of the intercompany transactions
- Production of the shop Turnover Certificates
- Responsibility for the flow of information between the wider finance team and the auditors during the year-end audit
- Office of national statistics
The ideal candidate will be actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA and will ideally have a background within the retail sector, they will be career minded and ambitious with a keen eye for detail and be seeking a business which will give them the opportunity to develop their already strong skill set.
