Company
Innovative engineering group based in Swindon seeks to appoint a Senior Finance Manager to lead its accounting and reporting agenda for one of its subsidiaries.
Role
Reporting to the Finance Director and with dotted line into the Managing Director at local level, you will lead and coach a small finance team and be comfortable operating as finance lead for the UK business. Specific responsibilities include:
- All aspects of management reporting
- Managing the accounting, collections and payables processes
- Managing the month end close process
- Quarterly projections and annual budgets
- Providing business support to the UK commercial organisation
- Ensuring accounting and compliance policies are followed
- Overseeing the statutory and tax reporting processes
About You
Your career history to date should demonstrate a move into the corporate world which includes extensive reporting experience. Naturally the role would appeal to an ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant, likely 5-8 years PQE. A self-starter and highly motivated, you will be both energetic and industrious and be comfortable building relationships quickly. We are looking for a high potential, high energy individual that will drive and deliver results and ideally some exposure to IFRS.
