RK Accountancy is proud to be associated with one of the Northwest’s largest food production manufacturers, located on the Fylde Coast this rapidly expanding manufacturing and distribution business has a diverse portfolio of interests and an ever increasing customer base, is currently seeking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk to add to their existing longstanding finance team.
Your New Job
On successful application as the companies new Purchase Ledger Clerk your duties will include processing high volume invoices, supplier queries; matching, batching and manually coding invoices. As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will also be responsible for monthly supplier statements, maintaining regular communication with customers and suppliers, preparing payment runs, bank reconciliation, occasional support with Credit Control and other ad hoc admin duties.
Your Experience & Our Requirements
Our Client is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk with sound knowledge of the duties listed above, You will have the ability to work under pressure managing high volume invoicing to tight deadlines whilst still able to build and retain great working relationships across the business. Your ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and to prioritise is essential as is your attention to detail. Your ability to deliver good customer service will be second to none and you’ll possess an excellent telephone manner. You should be proactive and possess an innovative approach to all tasks, whilst able to demonstrate strong IT, SAGE and Excel skills.

This is a permanent Opportunity offering a competitive salary of up to £21,000 per annum, with a generous holiday and benefits package and a fantastic working environment.
