Currently seeking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk to add to their existing and well established finance team.

Your New Job

On successful application as a Purchase Ledger Clerk your duties will include matching, batching and coding invoices, handling supplier invoice queries. As the Purchase ledger Clerk you will also be responsible for weekly and monthly supplier statements, maintaining regular communication with suppliers and customers, carrying out bank reconciliation, and other general other ad hoc admin duties.

Your Experience & Our Requirements

Our Client is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk with sound knowledge of the duties listed above, You will have the ability to work under pressure managing high volume invoicing to tight deadlines whilst still able to build and retain great working relationships across the business. It is essential that you have a strong working knowledge of finance processes within the business and will have the backing of a minimum AAT level 3.

Your ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and to prioritise work is essential, as is your attention to detail, your ability to deliver good customer service will be second to none and you’ll possess an excellent telephone manner. You should be proactive and possess an innovative approach to all tasks, whilst able to demonstrate strong Excel skills.

This is a permanent Opportunity offering a competitive salary of up to £19,000 per annum, with a generous holiday and benefits package. You’ll receive on going supervision and progression whilst in your role and will have the opportunity for growth as the business continues to expand.
