A rapidly growing, privately owned business operating in the services/ retail sector is looking to appoint an ambitious ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant into a Finance Manager role. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the role holder will have responsibility for galvanising a finance team to assist with its next level of growth.
Since its incorporation the organisation has grown into an international presence, operating across the UK and in Europe with a £13m t/o driven by success across multiple revenue streams. With expectations for the business to maintain the same trajectory, the Finance Director is looking to bring in an experienced accountant with a strong people manager background.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing the finance team on a day to day basis.
• Produce monthly management accounts including margin reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Produce monthly commentary covering both the P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Analyse financial performance and report on variances.
• Produce weekly cashflow.
• Support budgeting and forecasting process.
• Assume responsibility of accounting procedures.
• KPI analysis and commentary of performance against budget.
