Tax Accountant

Seeking a tax accountant to join a large Real Estate company in London.
Immediate start until early February. £250 - £270 per day

Job Spec:
- Understanding of VAT in the UK and other European countries
- Analytical, problem-solving mind that can help resolve complex issues
- Good understanding of core accounting - debits and credits
- Ability to reconcile VAT accounts back to GL
- Experience of multi-currency environment
- Ability to challenge the status quo where things are not working as they should
- Good systems knowledge - esp. look-ups and pivot tables in Excel
- Ideal - experience of dealing with outsourced service providers - but this is a "nice-to-have" not "must have"

Skills & Experience:
- Fully Qualified Accountant
- Effective communication and management skills with external stakeholders
- Strong technical financial accounting skills.
- Strong understanding of VAT.
